The school needed more outdoor space for the children to play. MPS created a multi-use games area in the existing playground with a quadruple Muga Pitch – Multi Use Games Area. Each pitch has the option for basketball or football.

The area was created in the school playground on top of the current school playground tarmac. The result? A unique MUGA pitch to match the school colours for endless games of football or basketball – break times have never been so exciting.

The school also created a daily Mile Track which was done in a unique colour to match the school brand – the students can now go for a jog/walk at break/lunch times to enjoy some fresh air.

St Josephs wanted to encourage healthy outdoor living and give the students the opportunity to exercise in multi-functional space.

Completed to a high standard & on time

We recently embarked on a project to resurface our yard and construct a MUGA. I contacted Phil from MPS to enquire as to whether this was something they could help us with, as MPS had completed several successful projects within the school over the past few years.

It was something that the MPS could oversee from the start of the project through to the finish and Phil was helpful organising the various contractors and regularly visiting the site to see how the project was progressing.

Phil even managed to use a local contractor for the tarmac work, and this ensured that the project was delivered on time and ready for the new academic year. There was excellent communication throughout the project from Phil and this gave everyone at the school confidence that the project would be completed to a high standard and on time
