How long will delivery take?
Lead times vary depending on the product but delivery usually takes up to 3-5 days on most goods we sell. Specials or goods made to order can often take up to 2 weeks. If your order is urgent, please get in touch with the office on 0800 999 6061, as we can sometimes deliver next day to meet your requirements. Please note: normal delivery times are between 9-5pm, time specific deliveries are charged and you must make us aware at the time of ordering. Although every effort will be made to fulfil delivery dates, no liability arising from delay due to any other party is accepted by School Furniture Offers. We would advise you to order early with specific delivery times to avoid disappointment.

How will my goods be delivered?
We use a pallet network to deliver our furniture. Therefore goods will be delivered palletised. Please be aware it is the customer’s responsibility to remove or dispose of any packaging, including the wooden pallet itself. For smaller orders such as 1 or 2 chairs, your goods may come boxed on a smaller courier van. Do not dispose of your old furniture until the new furniture has been delivered. In order for us to be able to make any deliveries during School holidays, it is imperative that full access and contact details are supplied well in advance to allow scheduling. Please notify us of any relevant school opening and closing times during holiday periods with your order.

What is the returns or claims procedure?
Returns of correctly delivered stock items will be subjected to a 25% handling and restocking charge. The items must be unused and in saleable condition. Some items are manufactured specifically for a customer’s order. We can only accept these goods back if they are faulty and for no other reason. Our upholstered seating is assembled and upholstered to order, and as such cannot be returned unless faulty.

Any shortage or damage must be reported to the driver immediately. If signed for as unchecked any discrepancies must be notified within 3 days of delivery, otherwise no claims can be entertained.

What is the cost for delivery?
All orders over £250.00 excluding VAT are delivered free to UK mainland. For orders under £250.00 we charge a delivery fee of £25.00 per order. Delivery to Northern Ireland & offshore islands will be charged separately. We may part deliver your order. Deliveries are made to ground floor only unless specifically agreed otherwise.

What payment methods do you except?
We accept a variety of payment methods:

  • PayPal, if you do not have a PayPal account you can still use your debit or credit card with this option.
  • Payment by invoice (For credit account holders ONLY)
  • Direct Bank Transfer (Account Name: MPS / Account Number: 50352683 / Sort Code: 20-29-76 / Bank Name: Barclays)
  • Payment by Cheque (Made payable to: MPS)

Can I open an account with you?
Fully government-funded organisations can open an immediate account on 30 days nett monthly terms. All other organisations, companies, or companies working for Government-funded organisations need a credit application approved before any orders will be processed via this payment method.

Do you have a minimum order quantity?
No, there is no minimum order quantity. However, orders that are under £250.00 incur a small order charge of £25.00.

What if I cannot see what I am looking for?
Then please call our office on 0800 999 6061. We have a wide range of products available, and fantastic relationships with the manufacturers so if you cannot see something you are interested in, give us the opportunity to source it for you.

Will my item be delivered flat packed or ready assembled?
Depending on what item you have selected, look out for the text within the product details. However if you select something that is flat packed but you require it to be assembled, then call us on 0800 999 6061 and this can be arranged for you.
