1. Delivery

All orders for paper and stationery are free within a 30 mile radius of our North West base in Ellesmere Port. Next day delivery is available for all orders received before 12pm subject to receipt of payment and availability of goods. Deliveries received on Friday will be delivered next working day. Deliveries of furniture or specialist items may be subject to delivery costs and longer lead times. We may part deliver your order, items to complete your order will follow as soon as they are in stock. Deliveries by our local drivers can be directed to the specified person or department at no extra cost but this must be specified on the order. Deliveries outside the delivery radius will receive free shipping for orders over £250 or receive a flat rate shipping cost of £7.49 per box or £25 per pallet.

Deliveries are made to ground floor only unless specifically agreed otherwise. It is the customer’s responsibility to remove or dispose of any packaging, including the wooden pallet itself. We do not deliver to home addresses.

2. Returns

Any stock item may be returned without charge within 3 days as long as the items are unused and in saleable condition. Non-stock items ordered specially, and furniture or goods delivered direct from the supplier are normally non returnable. We can only accept these goods back if they are faulty and for no other reason.

Good returned, which were supplied correctly, may incur a 20% restocking charge.

Returns cannot normally be accepted after 5 days of delivery.

3. Claims For Shortages Or Damage

Any shortage or damage must be reported to the driver immediately. If signed for as unchecked any discrepancies must be notified within 3 days of delivery, otherwise no claims can be entertained.

4. Delivery Times

Although every effort will be made to fulfill delivery times, no liability arising from delay due to any other party is accepted by MPS. Lead times are subject to change during busy periods.

5. Prices

All prices shown exclude VAT. Whilst we will endeavour to maintain catalogue prices, in the event of raw material cost increases or exchange rate fluctuations beyond our control we reserve the right to review prices. We reserve the right to notify the customer if pricing has changed from advertised.

We will endeavour to keep any changes to a minimum and you will be notified at the time of ordering the items in question. Prices are fluctuating at the moment due to the current climate and may be changed to reflect cost increases of materials.

6. Conditions Of Sale

All goods remain the property of MPS until paid for in full. E&OE. Subject to our Terms and Conditions. Fully government-funded organisations can open an immediate account on 30 days nett monthly terms. All other organisations, companies, or companies working for Government-funded organisations need a credit application approved before any orders can be accepted. The first order will always be carried out on a pro-forma basis.

7. Call Offs

We offer a call off service to our customers where we hold stock for delivery in managable quantities as and when you require. These are provided on a maximum term of twelve months and the Company reserves the right to clear outstanding balances not taken within that period. If there is a cumulative increase during the period of over five percent, the company reserve the right to either deliver the balance or charge storage. Stock is to be insured by the customer.

8. Credit Notes/Credit Balances

Any credits or credit balances will be available for use for a period of eight months after they have been initially issued or made available after which it will be cancelled.
